Yes. We do not sell other ERPs, and if Odoo is not the right answer for you we say so.
Odoo comes in two versions. Enterprise is paid every year for every person who uses it: the extra code exists, but it is not free software. You use it while you are subscribed, and you cannot pass it on. Community is free software: the code is public, you can read it, change it and keep it, with no license fee.
We stay on Community because open source is the reason we do this work. For you it comes down to one thing: what we write stays yours. You can hand it to another supplier and take it with you. You do not stay with us because you have no way out.
Our own 3D modules go out under a license called AGPL, which obliges anyone who takes them to keep them open as well.
